my.elderly.neighbor.has.struggled.with.depression
and.lack.of.motivation.for.many.years.
now.she.is.developing.severe.loss.of.short-term.memory,.and.she.doesn't.realize.it.
it.agitates.her.deeply.when.anyone.suggests.treatment
(because.she.is.either.unaware.of.the.memory.issues
or.in.denial),.so.even.though.i've.found.a.neurologist
who.uses.ldn,.she.is.not.open.to.seeing.him.
i.think.if.she.reads.an.inspiring.testimonial.story
about.how.ldn.helped.overcome.depression.she.will.be
inspired.to.try.it.for.THAT.
